don't waste your money on GS-27, Scratch X, or even the Meguiar's Scratch remover.
The only that that worked for me is a fine cut cleaner, for fine scratches.

take the car to a body shop and have them to compound/buff the car, that will take most of the fine scratches out. this is rather costly though

or

what i use to take the scratches out of my coustomers cars is meguiars paint cleaner (for scratches in the clearcoat), and for scratches alittle deeper meguiars scratch x followed by a coat of meguiars or mothers polish, followed by a coat of meguiars or mothers wax and then i seal it off with 3m glaze or some glaze that i got from the body shop (its called wizards, comes in a plain clear bottle and smells really good)

e-mail me if you want more info

It depends on the scratches

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, no amount of buffing in the world is going to remove it. If you can feel it with your fingernail, its time to learn how to use touch up paint.

Sometimes the resins in paint can turn white when exposed to oxygen, and compounds will remove the white. Otherwise quality compounds would be 3M Swirl Mark Remover, Finesse it II, Perfect it I & II.

Are we talking minor clear coat surface scratches or deep scratches? For surface scratches I use a Meguiars cleaner/wax 6...its ok.

For deeper scratches like down several coats, I use a bottle of nail polish the same color as my car. I use the brush that comes inside the bottle cause its thin and precise.

Ive wouldnt use it on a scratch longer than this though ------------
because I think it would be too noticeable. Works good and permanent only 1 dollar.
