http://jdmfan.com/technical/suspension/rear_camber/ doesnt seem very safe to me unless the new bolts are extremely high strength bolts

ya should work just fine. just go to pep boys or somewhere, and get some automotive strength bolts.

i may just do this because im having horrible camber problems since i lowered my car.....unfortunately its worse in the front than in the back. Anyone got any tricks for this? btw im sellin the 17's and gettin 16's with a larger offset, so perhaps i could just get a real camber kit for the front?

depending on how bad your camber problem is...yes that will work. usually the front is worse than the rear.

I do that mod at least 2 times week on customers' cars.

of course it is safe, i have been running the mod for 8 months now, no problems here. As for camber kits, look into Ingalls, Progress, Specialty Products, and Skunk2
