Default Dash Illumination, Taillights keep blowing out!

I have/had HIDs on my car and for some reason lately after I have had the HIDs on for almost a year my 10amp fuse ("small light", under hood) keeps blowing. Which when it pops it knocks out the tail lights, dash, and parking lights.

Took the car to Acura and told me they will not fix the car cause of the HIDs I installed (my mistake to not take them off before bringing it it). Anyhow they said the wire was melted by the HIDs and is causing a short/ground in the small city light in the drivers side housing.

This fuse always pops when I hit a bump, so I have been carrying around a box of 10amp fuses.

Any ideas on where I should start to look to fix this problem since Acura won't really give me an answer on how to, or where the problem is happening. So much for high rated customer service.

Look for the melted wire? Start at the HIDs and work back.
