Default Half Shaft help!!!!! Please

Man I was just under my car looking around because I noticed some tranny fluid in the garage after I pulled out....and my half shaft on the passenger side is able to move like and inch in and out of the tranny! I was like OMG!!!!! Is it a snap ring?I cant get **** untill monday from the dealer.....and I know the half shaft is supposed to have a tiny amount of play, but I can see the seal and the inside of tranny almost when I pull it towards the passender front wheel,it seriously probally like a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch....

It has to be the snap ring that goes on the ver end of the half shaft that goes into the tranny right? What else could it be.....I havent noticed any difference in engagement of gears or anything like that.....I could of just forgot to replace it when I did my clutch....which is a real possibility,Im a bone head sometimes with stuff like that.If u have any I deas of what coud cause it...please share.

Yeah but if it was broke it wouldnt spin like normall,I tested it and it spins fine and is all in 1 piece, but it moves in and out.And I would hear and or feel a piece of broken steel playing around in my tranny.

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but your snap ring isn't functioning correctly. What happened to it, I have no idea...

Get a new one on there ASAP.
