I have a competely stock (except for header and exhaust) 88 crx si and it won`t start. The fuel pump is getting no current when I test the sending unit but when I hooked the pump up to a 6-volt power source it came on. The main relay failed 3 of 3 tests so I replaced it but I still have no results. The engine cranks and sparks but I`m just not getting power to the pump and it looks like something could be shorting out the main relay... grounds are good. Any ideas?? I`m 1500kms away from home and I need to get back soon. Any help would be great.

 

errr coming from a stupid 17yr old kid check the fuse.
maybe there is another one or your relay blew again becuase wiring is fraid and short circuiting somewere
i might asweel shoot me in the foot cause im probly wrong

 

Already tried the fuses, I`m worried you may be right about the frayed wiring. I`m also thinking maybe ignition switch?
