Default rear center speaker 6x9

So basically I just wanted to put this in here for search purposes. When I took my factory sub out of the center which had blown, I caused the factory amp to die too because I forgot to disconnect the battery I guess, so I made a few trips to Best Buy and got some stuff . And just for you guys that were wondering about those Insignia tweeters that they have there for $29.99, they are amazing! So the new basic setup is..

Insignia tweeters
Pioneers in the front doors
Rockfors Fosgate 6X9 in the rear center
the 6X9 is now amped by a Rockford amp
2 6 1/2in. Alpine type S's in the rear deck which are also bridged to the Rockford amp
2 SHITTY 10in. Xplodes
Kicker amp powering the Xplodes
Custom made Tweeter vented box
Dynamat in the trunk...I was sorta dissapointed with this after spending $39 bucks
Optima Red top

I hope this helps some of you guys who are looking to upgrade soon

blown factory amp next to new one

Im sure you guys can tell but Im not an audio person at all...

So is your system bumpin or what man?

That much bass sounds gross unless all you listen to is Ludacris, IMO. Nice 6x9 in the middle though, I've wanted to do that for a while...

Doors and Rear Deck are 6.5" Speakers.

Heh, yea I have a 6x9 Setup, just to lazy to wire everything up for it right now.. A have a couple extras, if anyone is interested in one.. Along with some other Audio Equipment.

Oh and yea.. That box looks OBNOXIOUSLY LARGE! My roommates box with two 12"s wasn't even that big.. Maybe half the size.. Looks like the biggest box possible that would still fit in your car... :S

Its pretty nice, my friends single 10in. JL is louder. Then again his trunk is a lot larger then mine. For some reason, even with the Dynomat it still virbates like a mo fo . Im a stupid 17 year old kid who likes loud music so I mainly listen to hip hop/rap.

I ran around for a while with a full stripped interior and eventually realized that Its not really worth it for a DD in my case

Not having a trunk isn't worth it either.

I don't really know where to start with your setup, but I understand wanting a better sounding stereo. I'm going to have to say that I don't recommend this route to people that are interested in sound amplification. If anyone wants some advice I've been involved for 10 years, and feel confident in some specific recommendations.

To the OP you need way more Dynamat. Id be surprised if nothing rattles like crazy. My last lude I had 2 Rockford Fosgate 12" P3 with a 1x1000 JL amp. That thing would lttlerly rattle the **** out of my car. But for real, Sony is crap. You should get yourself something besides sony, and get a custom ported box molded to fit your trunk.

Just my 2 bits

Na for real tho looks good. Honestly I'm not down with boxes in the trunk and stuff. I eventually want to track down one of those 6x9 kicker subs and stick that in there amped up. To each their own those I suppose eh? Cheers!
