i got a question? can different types of oil affect the v-tec?

YES, if it's too thick the car will feel like crap, But it's effecting more then the vtack selinoid, entire motor. Too thin and the proper protection is gone.
Just use what is susposed to be used.

im using 10w30 on a JDM type r motor, what should i be using? something lighter wight or is that fine and i using an rsx oil filter.
