I am going to change my housing of headlights, to new ones.

But i need to buy this special tool to open the backend of headlight.

On the pic you will see a stainless steel screw that has like a torx opening with a point in it. how it that called so i can buy it.

Looks like a pair of vice grips will do the job if you ask me (depending on how deep that nut is, and if you can get a good grip on it), if not head to walmart, I'm sure it cant be more than a few bucks.

 

well yes, i will be in the states, nov 21-29, so i can go to wallmart then, it would be nice to know how that tool is called.

Your going to need a hex security bit key/piece.

This is what it will roughly look like (Bottom rows obviously):

 

saftey torx. it comes in different sizes like torx bits.

could also be called a tamper proof torx (TP-XX, will be the size instead of a normal torx that is just T-XX)

 

its a torx safety or tamper proof torx both the same
