Well first off, if your worried about cost, you picked the wronge car. It's all going to cost you an arm and a leg, lol. That's just how the ep3's are. If your going to go all motor start by buy picking up kpro. It's going to cost you 7-900 and there is really no way around that, but it is the best thing you can buy. Then you should look at buying a drop. 4x4ing is no way to ride when you dirve. and after that then look at all the bolt on's i.e. exhaust, intake, header.....

burn it and call your insurance agent. Its the worst handa I have ever owned, although still a honda, just definitely my least favorite! Just save some money and buy a swap. or put a clutch in it. Thats what I have enjoyed the most is my stage II clutch. But honda jewed us with 1/2 *** i-vtec and you can tell! unless this is your first honda... not tryin to be mean, jmo.

^GTFO

"Cheap" Stuff:
Rims/CTR spoiler (Goodbye minivan)
Header/Intake/Exhaust
Shocks/Springs (Yellows, Dspecs, etc)
Rear sway/ESMM/brake pads

If you have money:
Swap, Kpro
-or-
Build/Boost, Kpro
-or-
Supercharge, Kpro

if you wanna race and be fast all-motor then the only way to go is to swap a k20a or k20a2 into it. Even if u build the hell out of the stock k20a3 engine you will only get as far as a bolt-on k20a or a2... but if you just want it to look and sound good then just leave the stock motor slam the bitch and get a nice i/h/e combo.

i want it to be somewhat fast and able to hang im tired of getting beat by everyone. i got rid of my evo 9 and i had that extremely modded so im not used to losing. so really if i build this motor completely i mean COMPLETELY it still wont be worth it?

hey, I drive my car and love it! A quality suspinsion setup and i/h/e and its a fun car. not as fun as my 96 H22a Lude or my 91 CRX Si with a b16 but certainly not a terrible buy like trying to fix up a cavalier! But had I had known more about the engine and how the Si basically has a base model rsx engine, and I could coulda had just a little higher payment for a rsx type s I would have rather done that! Now Im in a possition where if I dont want boost odf any sort you have to to start talking about swapping motors or bottom ends or cams that weren't originally made for that engine, os something that isnt/hasnt been time proven! Thats all Im sayin. I/we got screwed on the v-tec I had been used to my whole driving career. It was just a hint of sarcasm, the whole burn the car thing!

That's a racing suspension, period. Don't buy that for street use or you'll really start to hate your car.

Just don't pick the most expensive items in the Mugen catalog and think they are the best. Pick specific parts for what you want to accomplish.

And if you have all of this money, then why did you buy an EP3? That motor/chassis is limited in performance. It is what it is--you can only polish it so much.
