i'm working on a 91 auto prelude and i'm wondering where's the dipstick supose to be because i found where i think it may go but there's no dipstick anyone with a pic please post it i need to find it he's complaining of a rough shift and i think it's because he's low on trans fuild or because there's dirt in it because it's messing. i just might be the dipstick and can't find it thanks

 

if i remember correctly (and this goes back 5 years when I was checking out what I believe was a 92 auto prelude) the tranny dipstick is on left side (passenger) pretty much around the front left tire wheel well. If you look down in there with a flash light, than look a little up and to the right more towards the firewall, it should be sitting down in there ontop of the tranny. (I think anyways, give it a look.)

 

91 is third Gen
and
92 is foruth gen unless Im wrong

 

no your right, I belive they are in same location.

Thats the only auto prelude's engine bay period that i've ever seen. I've seen a *million different manual preludes.

Scroll up a bit. Its the yellow handled dipstick **** and hopefully its the same for a 3rd generation.

thankx guys i will call the guy up anyone have one laying around i can purchase if so pm me plus how do you adjust the door hidge if it's loose in the middle where both piece come together? sorry for the newb'd question's i'm use to the civic and my door's havn't fallen yet
