Default East Coast people: Tires from Appalachian = Cheap

Thought I'd pass this along. I ordered some Hoosiers from Appalachian last week. After shipping, they came in a few dollars less per tire than Tire Rack did. And, they were shipped to me in a cardboard box - not exposed (and potentially subject to damage at the hands of underpaid UPS guys) like they come from Tire Rack.

Oh and they came in like 2 days because App is in Tennessee, so UPS ground is not only cheap, it's fast.

to Appalachian

Edit: Might valid for the whole country, would depend on shipping costs. That's where the savings were

Appalachian and Kumhos... Tried it, didn't like it.
That's all I know.

They don't heat cycle. But that's pretty easily done if you have enough wheels.
New tires then become your Saturday practice session tires, then let them sit overnight and run them on Sunday.

You're right they don't, but only because of the ineffectiveness of doing so on a machine. But they will shave the toyos, and thats what I will probably be getting.
