.... But the connectors (the soft ones) are yellow!!! As well as the hose that goes from the intake to the engine. DAMMIT!!!!!!!

IS there anything I can do, would it be safe to paint them, or am I stuck with yellow parts in my engine bay

you could pick some black connectors up from ace hardware for $3 a pop (with clamps)

 

yep looks like you need the 2" ones (they have a 2.4" inside diameter)

Just go to a auto parts store,a good one like napa etc. I made my intake out of 3" mandrel exhaust and used 3" radiator hose for the conectors. Looks like a AEM but with better fit. Could give you some pics if you would like.

 

I already have the intake, i jsut need to get a different hose

 

go to any shops that do up cars... i had the same problem... but they
were nice enough to let me have blues one instead of yellow.. or u can just buy one if they sell them seperately...
