do you think it will improve power:
k20a3+skunk2 tuner (stage1-2)
i know the k20a3 does not have a real vtec but with changing the camshafts change that problem? would there be more of a vtec than what is in there now?

yes cams will make a noticeable difference and ur motor will sound much more aggressive, but in order to get the max power out of it u must get a k-pro and tune it. with out a tune your cams woud just be a waste of money!

another question with this which would change some things:
if the rsx was an auto.
i dont want to go crazy on power for this car because i already have another car that im building up for racing/ auto x, but i was wondering if an auto rsx base model with the skunk2 camshafts that go to the k20a3(tuner i think is the only one) would make some extra power. with suspension, intake, header, exhaust. i know it wont make a lot of power and i should just get a manual or a type-s but im just going to be using it for a kind of a dd with some power. the only real reason i want to do the cams is because with those i will i think get more of a vtec effect.
-so what im really asking is if i can put the skunk2 k20a3 camshafts in an auto rsx?

to sum up the whole statement above because people dont like to read something that long and make it easier to get an answer:
*auto,02,base model,rsx + skunk2(k20z3 cams), intake,exhaust,header= more power + more of a vtec system

No in fact i Had a a3 then boosted it... and after all the work and money ..... not worth it... a buddie of mine had a k20a2 in his ep3 and that was alot more fun then my boosted a3...

But I have to agree, my friend has a boosted ep3 and it's not much fun...IMO...
