I remember seeing a DC with LS Meshes done like this, can't seem to find it, somebody help me with this, how should I go about doing the lip???
you could try getting a place that does chroming to do just the lip with a little overlap on the spokes then tape off the chrome, sand down the spokes and spray away. the only trick is finding a place near you that does chroming.
There is a DIY that I found, now my question since he's offline, he wetsanded the lip, and I think it came out polished???

so did you want a chrome lip or polished lip? theres a difference. Polished lip will be easier to achieve, even though fat fives dont have much of a lip to begin with. I would just polish the lip by wetsanding w/ fine grit & then using a polishing compound. & then tape off lip , prep rest of the wheel & paint.
