I have a fbp type r and im unsure wether i want to just leave the lip oem or carbon fiber....does anyone have pictures of there type rs with either carbon fiber or kevlar front lip ? please post if you do

thanks man lol im just not sure cuz i was bone stock before now i have advan rgs and spoon brakes but i do have some rock chips on the front do you have any with the yellow kelvar weeve

 

You just narrowed things down by alot. Not many companies make Carbon Kevlar Lips because the demand isn't great, mainly because the prices are a tad rediculous. Alot of people are going with the BYS Bumper which has a bottom Carbon Kevlar piece attached. Look through this thread, but its not DC2 specific:

They are roughly 900 new, but sorry to disapoint you... I don't think I have seen one for the USDM from, just JDM. I could be wrong.

I don't even know. Only place I knew of was Composites Fab which went out of buissness and scammed a bunch of people on the way out. Or so was the claim.

In my opinion... Without a carbon fiber hood to match the lip on PY, it looks like ***. There's a reason I have a paint matched lip now.

Don't rely on Doostur for info, he just recently found out what BYS was even though he is stationed in Japan.

My ITR. I can't decide wich lip I like better so I still have my stock and can switch according to my mood.

 

I say a CF OEM style lip is the best of both worlds. Your car looks great, but it seems your front hangs a little lower than your sides and rears, but I'm sure you have noticed this already.

 

BYS is nice, just too much $$$$

 

Who sells an matching OEM hood and OEM front lip R? I looked on the Seibon site but didn't seen an OEM lip. Is the Seibon hood quality better than the VIS hood? Thanks
