5th Gen Innovative Mounts Install Help?
Anyone have a write up for the 5th gen Preludes before I attempt my Install? If not, I'll probably end up writing a write up/review LOL

drop the mount and put the new one in. whats so hard about that. or pull the engine and do them all at once. not that big of a deal

The innovative mounts do look different and mount up alittle different from the OEM ones so it may be alittle confusing at first. The rear mount may be the toughest to get to, with out taking some other components out.

I actually just got these tonight. There are three mounts, I cant tell offhand which is which. Im sure I could just look at bolt patterns or something. However it looks like for the trans mount I will have to use the stock bracket on the trans and use this mount where it mounts to the chassis.
yea, the rear mount is the one with smaller tabs, the tranny mount is the beefy looking mount, and the driver side mount is the smaller one using the new bracket provided
yup it was actually simple once i looked at them. And btw I installed the driver side and trans mount and they lined up good it took alittle shifting of the motor to get them perfect but so far there are no issues with them.
if you just bought them you shouldn't have any fitment issues. i was told they fixed that problem on the new ones. I just installed mine on my 4th gen last week and fit like a glove. was a pita getting the bolt through the tranny and driver mount in straight lol

Its easy if you install the back mount first, put the bolts in loose until everything is lined up. For the sides, put the long bolt in first then bolt to the motor and tranny.
on my set for my 5th gen, the tranny one bolted up perfectly, than I started having alittle problem with the driver side lining up. I had to pry it to get it to line up. Also, the bracket for the driver side mount has to flex to close the gap between the mount and the bracket, kinda scary. Now the rear mount was the toughest to line up and took a lot of patient but it does line up after a lot of trial and error. all in all, installation was easy but getting everything to line up was the hardest. As far as vibration, there is some vibration at idle but I guess it's not real bad, I also have to rev alittle higher when taking off from first to avoid rough vibrations
