it tries to start but it seems like there is resistance or fatigue on the engine. and it backfires flames out of the intake manifold. what is wrong with my car?!??!?!

its a stock d15b7. no mods. i cant get it just to start. freekin A. i alligned all the marks and did the timing and it didnt start. so i tried over 10 ways of timing(pulled the timing belt and adjusted the cam and the crank) and it still wont start. it just shoots fireballs out of the throttle body, i havent even put a intake on it yet.

Is the firing order the same for the non-VTEc D15B7 he has? I honetsly don't know. It's been so long since I've seen a D15B7, seriously.

Yes 99% of most honda's follow this order there the flat part of the distributor is up and the round is bottom.

Not all Honda distributor shafts are indexed the same, your timing is off, set number one to TDC Compression stroke and make sure the rotor is pointing to #1 in the dizzy cap. I had one like yours and the rotor was busted loose from the dizzy shaft firing to the wrong plug.
The intake valve is open still receiving the air fuel mixture when the plug fires and flames travel back out the valve through the intake and throttle body.

Sounds like your cam/valve timing is off. Check timing belt for skipped teeth. If not, the firing order is not correct.
