.: 92 SI Hatchback - Super Clean and Original Condition!! :.
Well, its time to let go one of my hatches. It is a 1992 SI and I am the third owner. The original owner was an elementary school teacher and took meticulous care of it. He bought the car brand new and owned it until 2005. The second owner was my brother in law. He had the car until March, 2007 and was also just as **** about keeping the car clean and in perfect order. When he bought an S2000 he put the car up for sale. Even though I wasn’t in the market for another car at the time, I wanted to get this one because it is one of the CLEANEST and most ORIGINAL 92-95 hatchbacks I have ever seen. The interior is absolutely perfect with the only flaw being a 3/8” tear on the side bolster of the driver’s seat. The fabric itself is not torn; the stitching just came undone in that area. The dash is clean and scratch free, the carpet still looks new, cargo cover and OE rear floor are still intact and the rear seat is perfect. This car leaks NO WATER AT ALL. As for the exterior, there are four minor dings that can be removed by paintless dent removal. Other than that there are the usual scattered rock chips on the front end but nothing severe. The front end fits perfect as well. The only area of concern is the roof. In spots there is a foggy appearance in the clear. It is 15 year old original paint though. Since purchasing the car I have added a few things, they are:
• New pads/rotors all around w/ GSR front brake assemblies
• Tokico Blue struts w/ Ground Controls
• SIR II Steering Wheel
• JDM Armrest
I also pulled the original SOHC and put in an SIR II B16a from another car of mine. The motor has only been in this car for about 3,000 miles. In the last 10,000 miles the motor has had:
• Honda water pump/Timing belt
• New Honda oil pan
• Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
• Greddy Header
• ARP head studs
• AEM FPR
• B&M regulator
• New ITR valve cover
• Brand New USDM ITR Transmission from Acura of Salem
• ACT Streetlite Flywheel
• Excedy “Thick” 3 puck clutch
The Motor runs very strong, having run 14.2 on 195/45 street tires in my other hatch. The car currently is running a p72 but I will include a p28 that is socketed for Hondata. The car also has near new 195/45 Toyo T1-S tires. The Tenzo wheels that you see on the car will be included. However I would be willing to sell it with my CP-F’s for the right price. Overall this car is one of the cleanest examples of an original eg I have ever seen. I don’t really want to sell it but I am a student and I have way too many cars right now.
Asking price for the car is $6,500. Thanks for looking, Colby.

EDIT: Added some interior pics. I forgot to mention above that the glove box is missing. One of the hinges broke when my brother-in-law owned it and it hasn't been replaced. Also, OEM Honda floor mats come with the car, I took pics without them to show the condition of the carpet.

Here is the motor and the car it came out of...
