Whenever my car is in idle the cabin will begin to have a gas smell. However, when I begin to move again the smell goes away. Any ideas what could be causing this? What are some troubleshooting things I can do myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Check to make sure your idle air screw is adjusted correctly. Refer to your manual on how to do it correctly.


Or check your fuel filter and fuel lines under the car for leakage.

Exhaust smells nothing like fuel. Unless you're running retardedly ritch.
