I have gotten the car to go consistant 1.57/1.58 60's and last night started playing with tire pressure and got her down even more. Right after that something went wrong with the trans/clutch combo. The car was locking me out of 2nd and then 4th. The rest of the run was a wash. left lane...1.542

and yes this was on a 24.5 tire.

My car absolutly sucks to 60 feet. I have tried everything accept the front shock setup. I have been running the same pos setup for a while. I tried the front omni's and it was even worse. lol. My best 60 was in pomona 2005 with a 1.58. Thats with full boost from the hit. Now that I think of it, I was on M&H's too. wtf?

Now if you start talking about 330's I have a hand full of 4.2?'s

nice 60' time though -- best ferguson ever did i think was a 1.56, we were pretty consistent between 1.59 and 1.62

 

what did you drop the tire pressure too?

 

i think im the only car in spfwd that has never had a 1.5x 60 foot lol. after i got an alignment my 60's were about the same, 1.62-1.63 but my 330's dropped alot....then everything else went to hell.

next year hopefully i can do a bit better lol

1.55 is the best ive done. Funny thing is the higher I went in tire pressure the better it got. 5.5 to 6.2 And removed all rebound and compression in the front shocks. But I usually do 1.58-1.60 since I added the 70lbs up front. Still gotta mess with the rears a bit since the added weight.

 

i used to get 1.52's and 1.54's with my nitrous street car.. i usually pull 1.62's in the coupe

CRX was right there with you, A low 1.6 was a miracle for my car...lol.

 

ill see if i can rescan it or have someone else do it, sorry if its hurting anyones eyes. lol

 

I'm sure just typing in the incrementals will do, probably don't have to get someone to scan it again. lol Nah, wait, i'll call if I don't see the slip.

 

^ you need a new monitor my man, i know the scan is bad but i can atleast make it out here on my screen. You need to get rid of that 13" screen and upgrade, lol

i was pulling consistent 1.6x this past weekend. 7.5 psi in tha tires and 8-9 psi launching. I never really launch at full throttle though, close but not full. We all have our ways.
