I picked this up last weekend, its my new daily driver, i have a 96spec ITR for weekends and stuff. This is a genuine, straight from japan Vi-RS. There are a few others of them around here but theyre all grey or silver, never seen a black one before. Its more or less standard except for a set of D2 coilovers and aftermarket black housing headlights (which i'm debating about removing)
Once i get it cleaned up and raise the front an inch or so, i'll get some more pics up.

They do also come with a B16A, theyre called an SiR/Si (EK4)!!!
I could have bought an EK4 but i wanted something that was easy to run as i do 400-500miles a week and the D15B 3 stage VTEC can return over 50mpg if driven easy (which i am forced to do as traffic is so heavy on my way to and from work) so it suits my needs perfectly

Really nice, I would keep those headlights on there, those tires look too big for some reason (sidewall) some engine shots also 3stage vtec!!! lol

Yes, I am aware of this. But the EK4 doesn't look like this EK3. This EK3 is similar to our 99-00 Si EM1 but sedan version (rims).

Yes, sedans do also come with B16As. The Vi-RS does not come with an available B16 though.
This is all the creature comforts, but no "performance" engine.

Upgrades to Civic and Civic Ferio Series
Tokyo, September 3, 1998 --- Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced improvements to both the class-beating Civic 3-door and its 4-door cousin, the Civic Ferio. Several refinements have been made to the interior and exterior styling of both vehicle series. In addition, several Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) models are now available on certain 1.5L 4-door and 3-door grades instead of the 1.6L versions as before. LEV vehicles boast exhaust emission levels which are about one-tenth of the levels stipulated by existing Japanese regulations. An extra sports Vi-RS grade has also been added to the Civic Ferio series. The new Civic and Civic Ferio series will be available from September 4 at Primo dealers throughout Japan.
