help, removal of starter..

Default help, removal of starter..

i have the starter unbolted and the tranny mount is in the way.. would i need to take the mount off???

the starter should come out without removing the mount on any honda

Hmm, I usually do what's easiest to me. If the mounts in the way, just throw a floor jack underneath the engine and pull that mount out of the way. I can't tell you how many times I've tried and tried to squeeze things through and just ended up moving things out of my way. Good example is 98-02 Accord V6 alternator. I use to replace it without removing the cooling fan in front of it. Now I just pull the fan out and keep going.
