Request: D15b vtec block picture
I recently had someone do a jdm d15b block /y8 head setup but it wont engage vtec. I know on the normal d15 blocks there is an oil jet that needs to be removed but am not sure if the d15b vtec block has this as well. I figure a picture would be best.can anyone help? or can anyone tell me if it does?
The jdm d15b motor already has vtec and is equipped with a z6 head (92-95 sohc vtec) The y8 head should be a direct fit with absolutely no mods other then swapping over a few obd2 components. What ecu are you running? Oil level? everything plugged in? Cel's?
this is a JDM D15B VTEC block, not a USDM D15b NONVTEC block peeps.
but yea, its runnin a p28 and all is plugged up. seems like vtec isnt hittin :/

That's what I was thinking. I'm running a P08 with my d15b. Hey Ch3mik, I'll be free this weekend if you want use mine ans see if that's the problem.
