I thought for the longest time I had a rattle in the dash too. It's deceiving! It was actually the passenger seat pressed up against the back just the slightest bit to make this odd noise that doesn't even sound like plastic.

Hope that's what it is . GL

if its a metal sounding rattle, its your heat shield on your header.

mines doing the same thing. i thought about it being the heat shielt but it sounded like it was coming from in cab. can it just be removed or will the heat actually damage anything near by? quite a few friends with hondas (including me when i had my old b16 ef) just ran the exhaust manifold without the heat shield and never had problems.

I was sure I had a sound from my dash too. I wondered for weeks what it could be, because it was hard to locate, and only came when the eninge was warm. Turns out it came from the exhaust. Around the bolts on the cat....
