check tail light fuse

then check the bulbs, there is a different filament for the brake lights

mine are doing the same thing.. ill clear this up a little bit.. when night sets in and time for headlights i turn mine on and my headlights turn on.. look at my guage.. and no lights.. and also no running lights in the rear.. every time i put a new fuse in it pops it in 2 seconds.. if that.. any ideas on how to fix? i think that if i pulled out the brake lights and running lights and put a new fuse in with them out and turn them on it would either pop the fuse or not.. if it didnt then i know the problem lays in the lights.. if it does then theres a wire going to ground right? and i drive a 94 del sol

You may have to check your wiring. I had the same problem and it was my headlights wiring.gl

ok to everyone having this problem i was too.. then i relised that it has to be the bulb.. brake lights work and dont blow the fuse.. and its on the same ground.. but different fuse.. pulled the bulbs. and put in two new ones and a new 10 amp fuse and BOOM!! they work... CHECK YOUR BULBS!
