DEL SOL IN WINTER????
I justed picked up a del sol. 94 with 144k. Runs great. Of course rust on drivers door and fenders. But not a bad ride. HOW ARE THESE CARS IN THE SNOW? What can I do to make it better? All advise is wanted.
just got my 96 ex coupe and wondering the same thing and i have 17's on low profile tires but i think im gonna invest in some steelies.....but i think they should be ok as long as your not driving it as u would on dry street lol
Del Sols are great in winter, provided you're not trying to drive around on summer only tires or "performance all-seasons."
Get a set of 14" steel wheels and throw 185/65R14 Winterforce M+S tires on them. I end up plowing roads each winter with those things, no problems getting traction.
Be sure to wash the hell out of them, or they'll develop Honda Cancer at the rear wheel wells like every other Civic.

Tire Rack normally runs Winter Tire + Steel Wheel packages around this time. Might get them for cheaper than you'd think.
