I've been looking around again and just browsing at prices of Enclosed trailers. Why is it that every daym used trailer for sale is either in MO or NC. (no you dont have to tell me the reason) But ya, it seems like any trailer sold on the West Coast is a more, especially if in CA.
Any one order from a place 1000 miles away and get the trailer delivered? Cost?
** lets see if my thread gets more hits than the new PFWD post. haha.

I have been considering buying a trailer with living quarters. Maybe the Vintage 40ft with 20ft living area and 20ft garage. I bought my old trailer from NOPI and they delivered it for free.

Mill trailers and ask for the parks special. I put a down payment on one and never got my money back since I couldn’t do it…… sucks….
40ft 14ft living quarters with 7.5 ft ceilings fully upgraded

It would be cheaper to go get it. I bought my renegade from nc and they wanted $2k to deliver it. I spent $100 on fuel in my wifes car and went to get it.

i've seen $1.40 per mile for delivery. Im familiar with some of the major trailer companies out there, but i've seen a couple manufacturers here in CA that are just junk. Theyre not too bad of a price, but I wouldnt haul them past NV.
Vintage, Haulmark, Pace from the top of my head are of couse the popular ones.

Try doing a search on http://www.racingjunk.com
Lots of them there.
rota found his locally after looking all over.
I have even found a 38ft enclosed in the local weekly free paper for $5000.00

Personally I would never purchase a used trailer without knowing them or someone they know.
I had a 24ft pace shadow gt and loved it but I bought it from some one I knew, thank god cuz the thing had problems

alot of us bring generators, tents, barbecues, extra transmissions, and other parts. need something to store them in while travelling and leaving the car at the track.

Look on racingjunk.com. I found my truck/trailer combo on there and drove out to WI to pick it up. I saved a ton of money. If you are going to buy wait until late dec/jan. You will be amazed at how much the price will drop as people get desperate to sell them. I look on there everyday and mark the ones I am intersted in. Then wait till the ad is about to expire then e-mail them and if they still have it start neg on price.
We have a 28ft and Im looking at something like

I would have a hard time going any smaller for even just the car and all the crap I bring lol
My next trailer will be a stacker, or straight toter home. found an 03 for 150k with only 63k on it!!
Just be patient and the deals will show up for sure!</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have been looking at toters/stackers for over a year now. From the trends I see on RJ you get much more for your money going with the combo. It seems once the people unload the trailer they jack the price up on the toter homes.
I couldn't buy a used one. They want all the money for crap thats 5-8 yrs old. And if there cheap they look like ****. I bought a new one and I'm in the process of fininshing it like a pro series trailer. Saving myself about $5000.
Go to racing junk and search for Team Spirit trailers. I beleive they are out of Elkhart Lake Indiana??? We got a stripped down, base model, plane jane 30 foot enclosed, white delivered to NJ for a little over $6000 I beleive. Yes it has brakes, a drop down back door, dual axles. It has a wood floor though and plane white finished walls. Like I said nothing special but it holds our two cars and hauls plenty of our crap.
Watch out when buying some used motor homes or coaches that towed stackers. Some models are not that strong behind the rear axle and I have heard of some bent or tweaked rear parts of the chassis from them being to weak.

30ft + 2 cars = 2 VW's
Our Civic is 14ft long with out wheelie bar.
Rota talks about 2 cars in his 40ft'r. I would hate to think about where all the stuff we bring would go.
But as Ryan said, don't be in such a hurry to spend your money, something will pop up...

Yea sorry. Our two cars are 2 VW bugs with no wheelie bars (hang them up) and no exhaust sticking out of the back (just take it off). We have about 2 feet infront of the first car and a little over 1 foot inbetween the cars and 1 foot inbetween the rear of the second car and the door being closed.
Might be able to pull it off with two honda hatchbacks and no wheelie bars??? Not sure. Then again, you can always go bigger

We're thinking of getting a 2 car enclosed, but still waiting it out on how the Schedules pan out with the diff series. Not worth it if we're staying in CA mainly. Thats how its looking like right now. We may just pull one car each truck if we're only driving at most 4 hrs to a race.
You pay $150-200 or so for your trailer per month, but storage is another $150.. hehe Yikes!
