ok i have a zc that i just got the head rebuilt and all the gaskets changed and timed but i put the engine back into my car and it wont start i asked the guy if he timed it and he said that he did but he timed it on the exchaust stroke .....i thoought its supose to be timed on the comprssion stroke.... so witch one is it compression or exchaust stroke????????????

 

ok i seriously need to no like all the engine is doing is like making a wierd noise then it backfires but it wont run it i really need help with this...

 

yea, should have been on the compression stroke....
