My car souds so loud when I am driving. It started only recently, after I got it back from a repair to replace worn tires. Afterwards, I notice the car sounded like it got a new exhaust tip that amplified the sound of acceleration. I notice that the car took longer to accelerate as if it lost some of its pick-up. Does this sound familiar and suspicious to anyone? Some help is appreciated, thanks.

 

have you checked the bolts on your cat or headers?
another thing to check maybe your filter/intake tube might have been left off
