I don't know much about that exhaust, but it is Megan....which I associate with cheap quality. For an S2000, I would do it right with quailty parts.

i had the exhaust for about 8 months, it wasn't too bad. For the price you can't beat it. it was a bit loud but i got used to it and grew to like it. Without having it dynoed and only juding the gains by going up against my freinds s2k where he used to edge me out at high speeds, after i put te exhaust on i was pulling on him pretty good. You really cant beat it for the price i liked it.

my guess is because not everyone can afford uber rare jdm parts and the megan is an affordable alternative, thats why i bought it when i did, but i have since replaced it with spoon

Any other brands have a single exhaust with the same big angle as the megan?

Most of the singles that are made for our car have some angle. My buddy club does. The tip dosent stick out as much as it does in the pics cause I shortened my exhaust about an inch.

If you can't afford quality parts then why did you purchase an S2000? Treat your car to quality parts, and it will treat you back.

I'm not trying to bash on anyones way, but most of us here are S2000 enthusiasts and we only want the best for our cars.

Common now, megan isnt THAT bad!

It was cheap so I purchased one just to test it out. People either love or hate the angle. I really don't mind it all that much. I get nothing but compliments about the sound of the exhaust. Wether they're trying to just be nice or not, i don't know. But to me it sounds pretty good, really deep rumble and roars in vtec.. not fart can ricey at all. To all the people who are giving negative comments about the exhaust, have you actually heard it in person?

FOR SALE BTW

Not because i dont like it, i'm just going back to oem till i have enough funds for boost and a 3incher.

I agree that this exhaust does give you a few extra ponies. It might be just the weight, but I honestly do think it add performance in one way or another.

I raced my friends s2k as well. I had 1 200lbs passenger and he was stock, no passenger and gears (4.57).

We did a roll from 40 he jumped 1 car because of his gears but I started to reel him in shifting at 8500 rpm. By 100ish I closed the gap to half a car and shut down.

y were you shifting at 8500 instead of 9K? And theres no way your beating someone with 4.57 gears with no extra weight compared to your exhaust and extra weight... sounds like to me...

Actually I just took a quick look at the video. I was a bit off, sorry.

40 roll and he pulled a half a car on me. I shifted at 8500 to 3rd which gave him a full length on me. I was starting to pull back but let off at 100 or so. I really have no explanation for shifting at 8500 but I do know I did because my friend gave me **** all night for driving so bad. Also, in the vid you can hear my friend say "keeeeep going". I'm almost postive I were to go 100+ I would of catched up. I'm also positive that if I had no passenger(200lbs) and shifted at 9k I would of definitely taken the win.
