Default Random questions for s2k owners

A few quick questions for you guys...

I'm 6'3" 195 lbs do you think I'm to big for an s2k?

I surf... Has any body ever put a surfboard (6'4") or skis/snowboard in the front seat...? I'm sure you can with the top down... I just wanted to find out if you could close the top?

Last but not least. Which of the two motors nets higher gains going the NA route... 2.0 or the 2.2?

Thanks

I'm 6'2" 150 (less than that rly ) And I fit just fine. You *should* be ok.

You will never be able to close the top with a surfboard in the front seat unless you cut a hole in your roof. There is just absolutely no way. I feel like its crowded if I put 1 wheel in the front seat.

It will cost you big time $$$ to do anything else to this car NA. No one does it because Honda did it all themselves. If you want more power you must move to FI.

ive put a snowboard in the front of mine wrapped in a towel. i think surf boars are just too wide tho, even if you have a really short one.

What about bolt-ons... small gains with both motors?

I wish there was a sticky with this stuff in the s2k room...

Height Issues?

Fit a 155 snowboard in front seat for transportation only (NO S IN SNOW). Had to put the top down first to get it in.

Surfboard, no way in hell.

Very minimal gains with bolt ons.

In the year that I've been looking at S2Ks (had mine a bit less), I don't think I've ever read a single thread about anyone ever taking apart the F20(2) block to bore it, stroke it, sleeve it or anything like that, compared to every other thread on the Integra forums.

Bolt on on the S make for good sucking and expulsion noises though

Drive your current car, with your surfboard in it/on it (however you transport it currently) to the dealer. Ask to sit in an S2000, and then bring up the surfboard issue. And then have the salesperson tell you to buy an Element.

You're obviously not looking hard enough. You being in Maryland, you live close to a shop (inline) that's the home of the 2.5L and 2.7L s2000. You should be ashamed of yourself.

seeing how my question is pretty much the same. i went and sat in one at the honda dealership. im 6'1" with a longer upper body. i noticed the rear view mirror blocked some of my vision (more then my crx). how much of a drop in inches have you guys seen when switching to a fixed bucket seat? i havent found any other models to sit in (dont want to raise convertible and have salesperson complain)

I dropped at least 2 inches with my Buddy club rail and Recaro SPG. Well worth it.
