ive got a ys1 cable tranny. im getting a hydo gsr tranny. i know ive read some where that the gear can be changed. but i cant find the info now but i know i read it. i have to make sure about this becuase im about to do it tomorrw as long as i get the money. but please help asap. please. ive got tell friday night to have this in my car driving. i race the car for drag. thanks for help

 

yes, you can put the gearset from the hydro into your ys1 trans.


IIRC you will need to shave or modify a little bit of the housing for it to fit. but yes, it works.

 

thank you so much ive been going crazy trying to find this out. on the houseing part maybe thats why it looks like there a little bit missing. maybe someone done it to this tranny befor thank you tho
