I've almost got my motor back together and I realized that I still need the gasket for the oil pump pickup/strainer. Parts stores don't sell them individually so its like 8 bucks for that gasket, front main seal, and the oil pump o-ring. I have already replaced the other two items.


So since the oil pickup is in the engine I was wondering if it's alright to just use a gasket maker RTV type stuff for a gasket or do I actually need one of those paper gaskets?
