4th gen lowered
is there anyway someone could send me a picture of there 4th gen lowered 3 inches, from stock height...just trying to get a idea of how low i want to go...ive searched and search but i cant find any threads like listing how much of a drop each lude has.
well im planning on getting the ground control coilovers and as far as they drop its says is 3.5...ha so im jsut trying to figure out what that will look like.
you will scrape on everything.. seriously. preludes have long noses. i had 1.6 front and back, and i occasionally scrapped on **** based solely off of geometry (aka creeping at 1mph or so with no shock compression).
after that... i always seemed to think it would be crazy to go much over 2. practicality just would not be there if you plan on DDing it. if its a trailer queen for racing, i could see it then...
Call me crazy, but i still remain in the group of people that must occasionally go over a speed bump.

i reversed it like 20 feet to take that picture
went back in the garage to raise it some
this is normal ride height

hmm...i think the pic makes it look really low
comfortable?
heck no...not on these spring rates.. 10k/8k f/r

I would love to see what setup 95greenlude is running, preludes are way hard to slam like that.
How do you even drive that thing in the streets lol?? I have a hard time with a 2.5" drop as it is!

Well, your lip kit helps it look lower though, admit that at least.
I think we should all go out and measure our cars. Measure the distance from the front jack point near the crossmember to the ground, and same for the rear jack point. But I do love that green lude, I always enjoyed all the old pics in the mountains and stuff.
I had to raise my rear up though because I scraped about 6" worth of length FLAT on my exhaust. Its 3" diameter, so its easier to touch the ground and it hangs a little low as it is, but now I'm kind of digging my "staggered" look

That sounds about right to me, I just ran downstairs and measured, 2.5" in front, and 3.5" in back, low enough I have to drive up on 2x8's just to get my low profile jack to be able to jam under the car.
