When I had the engine out, I replaced the following:
Intake manifold gasket
Rear main seal
Clutch if it is old
Installed ltw flywheel
water pump
timing belt
balancer belt
rear main seal
valvecover gasket
cam seals
axles
oil pump

I cleaned my EGR valve and the whole intake manifold while it was off.

Also, make sure the hoses behind the engine are fine. If they look worn, I would replace them now.

Definitely the coolant hoses behind the motor, as they're a bitch to replace with the motor in. Replacing the oil cooler o-ring will be a snap with the motor out.

Be sure to do the rear main seal.

Get new accessory belts while you're at it, and yes timing and balance.

You mean you're not getting oil seals?

Don't make that mistake.

oil seals or main seals. i think thats what matt is talking about. they are the seals on the crankshaft. the rear main seal is more a problem than the front from my experience. and its a seal man. its seals and prevents leaks of oil. just know that you need them. its cost 7-10 to replace them now. wait til they go bad and you have to pay someone to do it and its going to be like 200-300..if not more.

you ask for the front and rear main seals. they will have to order it if you get it from advance or something. it cost me 16.00 bucks for that. the axels dont need to be changed. no need in changing something that doesnt need to be changed. plus you can pop those out in 15min. thats a waste of money

dude i hope your not planning on doing this yourself. if you dont know where they go you probably shouldnt be doing it. i just told you the seals go on the front and rear of the crankshaft. the balancer belt is in front of the timming belt. you need to change you water pump as well. when you change your timing belt you change your water pump as well.

I'm not posting again in any of your threads until you post a pic of your brand new helms manual. Doing work like this on an engine with no manual, going off of random peoples' opinions on a forum is a BAD idea. ESPECIALLY if you're inexperienced.
