Function wise, they are the same.

But, Pro cam gears look better and (I think) are lighter.

 

Pro Series products in general are BETTER for one reason or another. We created the line to differentiate ourselves and our products from the knock off brands.

The Tuner Series Cam Gear has been knocked off by many companies... We use the Pro line as the high-line. We make changes so the cheaters and copy cats have to keep up and speed more money marketing an inferior product. The Pro gears are lighter (by 5%) and stronger (made from forged 7075 not 6061) then the previous model. Someone also mentioned they look better... I think and have always thought (since they became avail) they were the best looking units on the market... even when I worked for and sold AEM.
