i wanted a slightly bigger brake combo without having to switch to an aftermarket big brake kit..
can i swap my rotors calipers n pads from the rsx onto my type r
i plan to swap to the 16 inch rsx wheels as well

There was a thread about this not too long ago. basically, you can use the rotors if you machine about 1mm out of the hub of the rotor. Caliper bolts right up, from what I remember...

 

why not just go with the legend 2-piston calipers?

 

I think the RSX uses same size rotors as the S2K. I've tried fitting the S2K rotors on my R but you will either need to shave down the wheel hub or the inner of the rotors. I ended up using the Spoon 300mm rotors to work with my Spoon Monoblock (RSX/S2000 sized) calipers, which happens to be for sale right now.
