Default Homebrew exhaust

Hi all,

The following link is to a discussion we were having over at the CRX resource as to what the best custom exhaust set-up would be in terms of economics and function: http://65.57.232.177/ubb/Forum2/HTML/010594.html

About halfway down the page is a group of schematics that I designed to illustrate option 1 listed in cbstd's post. I decided to go with this set-up mainly because it would cut costs and eliminate back pressure, but I may be eliminating too much b.p. with this set-up. Which method do y'all suggest I go with? Any HELPFUL input would be appreciated, thanks!

1) I thought a lot about having a Supertrapp type muffler at the end of 2.5" piping exiting after the cat, near the passenger side door (driver's side is too noisy with the windows down).

2) Replicate stock system using 2.25 or 2.5" ALUMINIZED piping & Dynomax or the new Hooker muffler to reduce weight & increase hp.

side note: clamp on high flow cat OR Landspeed Racing high flow street cat. I always run legal exhaust. Be Green! (or don't bitch about SUV emmisions).
