first things first, did you check the entire clutch line to make sure nothing is leaking anywhere? Inside the car, the engine bay or inside the dust boot on the tranny where the slave cylinder is at?

all lines are dry, im sure there's no leak. During the installation process I didn't take off the cotton pin ( from master cylinder rod to clutch pedal), instead I just unscrewed the rod and reused the old pin along w/ bracket. I figured it would save time since I couldn't take it off since too tight of space, there's still some thread left. Could that be the problem since the rod doesn't reach far enough to push fluid away?

what crazy

well r u bleeding properly?

should be using a small container 1/4 filled with clutch\brake fuild with 2-5 inch hose connected to the bleeding valve

then have someone else pump the clutch alot then hold it in
release the valve and watch for a shot of clutch fluid with bubbles

repeat the process 4-10 times to drain and bleed all the air
it will gain pressure slowly

also do not forget to keep the reservoir full with fluid or else it will suck all that air in again

just thought I should mention all this
hope you find the problem

uh... I would think that could definitely be the problem. I dont know what to tell you there. I've always just removed the cotter pin and replaced the whole assembly. Yeah it's tight but do-able.

I replaced the cotton pin/bracket, but it didn't help. I bled it many times but still feel no pressure. Any ideas why? thx

well I had a big problem on my 93 accord lx
I thought that my car was fudged
I had tried bleeding it at first and nothing....tried like 8 times
but air bubble were coming out but it wasnt gaining pressure
so I made a post for help
Nothing seem helpful cause everyone kept sayin "theres a leak" "Maybe theres a leak"
there wasnt a leak before why should there be one now after the installation

I decided to just give it another go
so I bleed the system again and again......like another 10 times and finally gained alittle pressure
I talked to my friend next door
Hes telling me that the fluid drained out from more then half the system
so it had alot of air and was takin long to drain

try it a few more times but pump the clutch more then once (10+ times)

I didn't mean to replace it, I meant when you swapped it maybe you didn't install it so the push rod was at the correct length.

I've had my clutch lines empty before, it's doesn't take much to push fluid through the system and bleed it. Maybe a couple dozen pumps of the clutch pedal at the most. And when the pressure built up, it built up fast. It wasn't like bleeding the system 5 times and now I get a little pressure, as soon as the pressure built up that was it. So if it takes that many times to get pressure I'm going to think there is a problem somewhere else.

i know u said in ur prev post u had no leaks, but here is my .02

My 94 i did the same thing, no pressure in the pedal. i replaced the slave, nothing ! replaced the master cylinder, still no pressure. at this point i was prob where u are at now ... well after going crazy momentarly i started at the slave cyl and worked my way back down the line, until i saw a rubber hose in the line that was obviously the source of my problem. hydraulic oil everywhere and hidden back behind the dizzy/heater hose/rad hose etc. but there is a section in the metal hydraulic line that is a rubber hose used to compensate for the movement of the motor. mine was leaking at this spot and took me awhile to notice do to it puddling up on top of the tranny and not dripping. i went to a hydraulic shop and got some stainless steel braided line so this will never happen again ! maybe this could be ur prob too since uve tried just about everything else !! let us know the fix

last time I did it over 20+ times and still couldn't get any pressure. Why does it still suck like a magnet toward the firewall when I lightly press it down after multiple bleeds? I thought this task be over quick but instead its a pain in z azz.

Having exact same problem with my 95 Prelude. Replaced master and slave cylinders, no pressure on pedal. Bled it at the slave and got all the air out and still zero pressure. What is the secret to getting pressure in the master cylinder?

I've never used one... don't see how it would change things since it isn't "needed" to do this.
