Have a 1997 honda accord 4 cyl. driving at about 60-65 engine loses power(hestitates). If i press on gas pedal car bucks. upon coming off highway everything fine back on highway starts problems. driving around city no poblems

replaced plugs, rotor ,cap , fuel filter , adjusted values

any ideas? mechanic can't get car to do it wait until it happens more frequently

I would start with a fuel pump diagnosis, will require an oscilloscope and amp clamp and a tech who knows how to read an amp ramp OR go for a drive with pressure and volumn tester hooked up. I think you may be running out of fuel at higher speeds. You can try a Dead Head test, clamp off the return fuel line to the tank after the fuel rail (after fuel injectors). Some guys frown on the Dead Head test.
