What should I do with my 98 Coupe
I'm having a really tough time as what to do w/ my 98 coupe , I love her to death but unsure, just wanted some opinions to see what you guys think. I'm thinking about getting a new 08 SI and using the coupe as a daily driver, or I'm thinking of swapping a B18C1 in her and manual conversion and redoing the body.
I guess I will start with the plus's of the coupe:
99-00 tail light conversion
Ground Control/ Koni Yellow Shocks
Clean interior
Now the bad parts of the coupe:
Front bumper is Screwed (animal recently ran out infront of it while doing 55)
fogged up head lights (I've tried Meg. Plastix, doesnt help at all)
Suck-o-matic (auto) D16y8
Back bumper is busted and that little piece of metal below he tail lights (step dad accidently backed up into her w/ a FORD EXPLORER)
so basically the whole car needs to be repainted.
front lower speakers need to be replaced
need new tint , (somebody busted out the windows on her) *got new windows though :-P*
I think that about about sums it up, I wanna know what you guys think.

any opinions?? </TD></TR></TABLE>
Drive her off a cliff and collect insurance if at all possible. Its your car man. All our opinions are going to do is already confirm the thoughts in your head that you have.
A new bumper, paint, auto 2 manual, baking the headlights, replacing speakers and tint may seem like a lot to some people.
If are making good money and can easily afford a new car I would go for it. Having a warranty is always a plus.

Like everyone is saying...it is up to you. In my opinion, you will save a ton of money just fixing the car you already have versus buying a brand new car. And if you drop a B18C1 into it, simply do the manual conversion at the same time...There is plenty of help on Honda-Tech for auto-to-manual swaps. And by the end of it, you will appreciate a car that you put all that work into a lot more than a car you dropped a fat down payment on.
Restore the body (i.e., fix what's broken).
Then have fun.
And I wouldn't cry about how any of your first cars looked. You choose them, so apparently you were okay with them in the first place. If you bought a stripped car, you probably got a great deal on it.

Damn dude it , its looking real good from what it came from! Don't worry about juicing the thread, I wanted to see it anyways, haha. BTW how is that Mishmoto radiator doing? I am thinking about buying one myself , my radiator has a slight leak on it, nothing really bad, but it needs to be replaced.
scootibum i love that rad. for the price you can't beat it either. i have no probs with over heating even in this 400hp beast that i drive everyday. i would give it a thumps up. PM and i'll tell you where to go for the best price
