There were rare JDM LSD trannies that came in some EG hatches in Japan.
To ID an LSD tranny look through the differential hole (where the axles click into the tranny) and if you can see all the way through with no metal bars going through diagonally, thenit's an LSD tranny.
The following pic is on an ITR LSD diff hole, but the same principal applies to the D tranny with LSD:
