Default IS IT TURE ABOUT THE K20?

I WAS WONDERING SINCE IM THINKING ABOUT GET A EP3, I WANTED TO CHANGE THE HEAD TO K20 R HEAD FROM THE INTEGRA WOULD IT MESS UP IN THE LONG RUN LIKE B20 V OR LS V.

Why would you post this in the EF thread? Any modified engine can be built to last, you just need the money and the know how.

Wrong forum there, bucko.

The reason you hear about people's swaps blowing up all the time is because: a) the people who put them in are inexperienced idiots; b) are silly adolescents who pound the crap out of them, resulting in carnage; or c) are people who bought a used motor from somebody in situation a) or b).

If you don't have the experience, have a reputable shop do the work for you. And post these things in the DC5/EP3 forum next time.

it'd be very expensive to put a k20a head onto a k20a3 bottom end and get it to work properly. you would be better off and cost effective to just buy a swap and get rid of the a3.
