Default I put together a list of parts. What do you think?

These are some upgrades I have been thinking about putting on my 1996 accord ex 4cyl. I wasn't sure what to think about them so I wonder what you guys with more experience think. The main things are the exhaust, the last thing I want is a ricer sounding car but I do want a performance upgrade. Also the brake rotors and pads. I have no idea if they are good or not. Will the venom performance control module actually help? I have heard yay and nay on it. Or should I save the money and buy a 2000-01 Prelude instead? Let me know what you guys think and please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here are links to all the parts:

I think the accord is a lovely car, i do like preludes... but my first choice is always space in a car...
I clicked on every link you provided, but none worked.

What do you have in mind as far as upgrading your car?! A budget you would like to share?!

Just a personal opinion.
I don't know if your car is 5ps ou auto... but i will tell you a little story:

a couple of years ago, i drove a 1996 ex (f22b1 sohc), with Intake, full exhaust, magnaflow cat, 4-2-1 header, skunk2 TB, TB spacer and venom 400 control redlining at about 8k rpms... it had a descent take off, good power from mid to high rpms, you could feel a little extra torque. But no matter what, being an automatic really didn't let things go right.. lol...

If i were you... i would swap a 5ps tranny in there, and install the clutch pedal and all... there's a guide on how to do it and what parts you need to do that on the FAQ of the accord forum.

If you are used to your car already, trust me... intake/ header/ exhaut (...better known as I/H/E..) will make you happy!
Suspension/brakes should always come first, if you put all the parts you just linked... i think you gonna love your car.
I personally, wouldn't put the venom 400 just yet... wait a little while, you might upgrade your motor more in the future, and then that venom 400 will have a greater effect to the engine's performance.... well... that's my 2 cents for you!

I agree, 5spd swap is a must. I would do that before anything. I will never own another automatic car unless I lose my left foot in a freak accident.

Skip the Venom chip completely. IMO the chips just aren't worth it, particularly if you only have a few bolt-ons.

I would wait on the rotors and pads, unless you need new ones anyway. The rotors look cool but just aren't necesary you making repeated hard stops.

The Eibach springs are good, but I would add some shocks to the list too....possibly from the money you saved by skipping the Venom chip

The stock Ex manifold flows pretty well so I don't know if I would spend $350 on a header. You just won't get that much power out of it. We put a Megan Racing header on our 94 Ex and like it. You'll get a little bump in power and it's well under $200 shipped.

The intake looks good, but I don't know if I would spring for the V2. It's supposed to make better torque but it's so much more expensive than a regular AEM cold-air. Either way it'll free up some power and sound great.

Sorry for the long post, I'm up late and you asked for opinions. But anyway, looks like a good start. When you get bored with those mods then you can start asking about turbos
