Running rich! Fresh LS swap. Timing issue??
JUST installed a b18b1 obd1 into my 92 hatch
before swap i installed new timing belt and w/pump on engine, just made it easier having the engine out already.
Go to fire it up, throwing a code 10. And runs like a bag of ****.
RPMs jump while idling. and exhaust reaks of a rich mixture.
Im wondering, is it possible that when i did the timing belt, if i were to be off just one tooth, would that result in this?
If you need more details feel free to ask.

yeah. the ECU is out of the same vehicle that we pulled the motor from.
Im switching the air temp sensor today after work. hopefully thatll clear the code
Someone on another board also noted code 10 might be popping up even due to the timing being off.

swapped out the iat sensor
check engine light is no longer on
But the car is still running like a bag of ****, white smoke, doesnt smell too sweet tho as if it were coolant, rpms still jumping at idle, and misfiring.
