Not to be sarcastic, but there is no US Civic Type R. They have the same carbon fiber look as the Integra Type R.

I know the difference this bezel is it behind the clear cover of the cluster next to the gages or is it the black ring around the dash

Sorry my bad. It goes behind the clear cover. It is the piece that has the idiot lights that goes around the instruments.
