Default Tenzo DC5

http://www.tenzoracingsports.c....html

I wanted to buy a set of 17" Tenzo's DC5 but I wanted to know how much they weigh in (lbs) each if anyone here knows. I also wanted to know how well it runs performance-wise. Sellers claim that these are top quality, lightweight so Ive tried emailing various sellers to get some info but none of them replied to my question.

all replies, thanks in advance

They're relatively light, weighing in at about 18lbs each. But, they're far from high quality. They're cheap knock-off's, if you want brutal honesty.

Hmm 18lbs each? thats pretty heavy... to me. Thought that at that price it should be like atleast 15lbs or less. So you mentioned cheap, please explain? Do they break easily or crack?

They're light for the size.
Rule of thumb: 1lb for each inch in height is considered light weight.

Tenzo-R products are poorly manufactured, highly unsafe, and are considered one of the worst products to buy on the market. Much worse than OEM spec. products.

I knew Tenzo-R was cheap, but I didn't know they were that bad. Where are they manufactured?

rule of thumb eh? that makes sense. well thats too bad for tenzo because i really liked that design and was really going to buy it except the only thing that held me back was because there was no info plus no sellers replied so it was kind of a suspecious feeling about it. You saved me a bunch, so thanks a bunch to you. What would you recommend compared to something similar?

If money is an issue, stick with some Konig, Falken, Enkei, Rota, or 5Zigen wheels. But, if you're looking for a little nicer wheel, go with something from Volk Racing, Work, or SSR.
