Default 10k RPM over rev

I was getting on the highway yesterday and i miss-shifted from redlined 3rd to 2nd, i caught it all on video (the clusteR). My prelude (1997 5th gen H22) Revved to somewhere between 9,500 - 10,000 RPM... It didnt blow or anything and it runs perfectly fine. Anyone else ever over rev that high and not bend 16 valves??

I have seen a locked 8995 on my vafc with stock valves. I had no issues after that.
Sometimes it happens and other times it doesn't.

over rev could cause wat you call "valve tap" in other words your pistons hit your vavles due to "valve float" <-- google it - and everything in your engine collides... all in all its something you want to avoid lol. I was a lucky SOB
