Gsr EG Axle Problem. Pics Posted
Alright i removed the axles from my b18c1 swapped eg and put them next to the new ones i got from advance. they definitely dont match up. i looked up the part number to see if they gave me the wrong ones and they supposed to be correct. I even cross referenced them from other b-series models.
The bottom new ones are gsp new cv halfshafts item #NCV21525 for any b-series motor but for my sake b18c1,
The top one is the old torn boot axle from passenger side. the inner joint appears identical but the outer joint is shorter as you can see

Can anyone tell me what i got to get (hybrid axles from raxles or hasport)
Could i have a different transmission

Well all 90-01 Integra passenger side axles are the same, except for being ABS or not. So, definitely has nothing to do with your tranny. Bring back that axle along with your stock axle and get another axle. Compare the new axle with the stock.
i had the same issue when i went to replace my torn boot axles with new ones from autozone. what i figured is the the overall length was shorter because the boot is actually SEALED as opposed to the torn boot which extended out because of the lack of vacuum inside the boot... so i just installed them and called it a day. no problem what soever.
If the axle has brand new outer joints they might just appear to be different, but actually work the same.
There are no "special" axles needed for a B18C1 into an EG. Any 1994-2001 Integra, 94-97 Del Sol VTEC, or 99-00 Civic Si axles will work just fine.
...and ABS doesn't matter either unless you have a 1994 Si w/ABS - then you must get an ABS ring'd axle. Otherwise ABS or not doesn't matter.

alright, not saying much, but the advance guys were stumped. said there is some sort of varience from 93 to 94 honda and acura models but were inconclusive on an axle that'd fit. possibly that the joint expanded from overuse but there is a 1.5 inch difference and i want to be certain. there was only a small tear in the boot before.
try putting them in and if they dont work or go clunk when you throw it in reverse take em back and match them up at autozone if they dont have the right part try carquest ect till you end up at hte dealership!

Integra (LS, RS, GS and GS-R) axles are all the same dimentions. The only difference is if the ABS ring is present or not.
Aftermarket axles are hit or miss. Always bring your old axles into the store to compare length, spline count etc etc...

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I figured since I'm installing a GSR in an EG, it fits to post.

The GSR axle looks longer, but as you can see, the RS axle boots are compressed, do they ever open up to the size of the GSR axles?
