Same Fuel Pump?
Just wondering if the same fuel pump is used on the Canadian and US made 97 Civic's. I believe it is just the sending unit that is different, but I wanted to verify this.
I have a Canadian-made 97 Civic LX, and I bought a used fuel pump/sending unit off eBay, and everything looks to be the same except that the one from eBay had a banjo bolt connection on the sending unit, and mine just has the plastic clip connection. Just wanting to make sure I can use just the pump and my old sending unit so everything hooks up properly.

Call your local Honda dealership and ask the parts department if they mind looking up the part numbers for a Canadian vs. US spec civic like yours.
If the numbers match you're good.
If they don't it still might work, but there's difference enough to have a different part number.

The Walbro 255LHP that everyone seems to be getting just lists one part number for all Civic's 92-00. At work we list different part numbers for the two versions, but I think that's just because ours come with the sending unit as well. But since Walbro uses the same number no matter where it's made, can I assume it to be compatible?
